La página que se abre tiene el objeto de ofrecer información sobre mi perfil profesional. Profesora de Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Oviedo desde 1971, Catedrática de la misma desde 1994, hoy Profesora Honoraria de la Universidad de Oviedo, deseo compartir con quienes lo deseen la información sobre la producción de investigación realizada en diversos campos. En particular, el arte contemporáneo sin reservas, con énfasis especial en el arte y las ideas que se transmiten en la iconografía de las vanguardias. El arte en Asturias, mi lugar de nacimiento y de asentamiento, es otro de los pilares en los que llevo a cabo mi actividad, aparte de otras labores en los terrenos del Patrimonio cultural de la región.
He impartido docencia sobre Arte contemporáneo en España, y sobre Museología y Museografía. He impartido cursos de doctorado durante muchos años. En la actualidad analizo aspectos del arte contemporáneo en países islámicos, además de interesarme por el arte actual del entorno en particular asturiano.
En paralelo a estas actividades y las publicaciones desarrolladas en los treinta y ocho años de docencia, que figuran en el CV, he desarrollado actividades y aún lo hago, en el ámbito asociativo e individual de la cultura actual de mi entorno con artistas visuales.
Otra dimensión que me viene apasionando desde que me fue posible llevarla a cabo es el viaje, tanto en ámbitos próximos territorialmente como en culturas lejanas, aquellas en las que tanto se fundamentaron los artistas de las vanguardias históricas. Ello me llevó a iniciar intercambios dentro de la Historia del Arte como Profesora responsable, de programas Erasmus a lo largo de diez años (Pisa, Perugia, Nápoles). Corolario de ello quizá, fue la responsabilidad de ser Directora de área de Relaciones Internacionales dentro de la Institución de la que formo parte.
Además, realizo en ocasiones análisis y comentarios de actividades expositivas.
Entiendo que el arte de hoy es incomprensible sin el pasado, y que el pasado no tiene ningún sentido para un ser civilizado si no nos conduce a comprender el presente, incluido el arte que se realiza a partir de la “posmodernidad”.

The page that is open has the object to offer information on my professional profile. Professor of History of the Art in the University of Oviedo from 1971, University professor of the same from 1994, today Honorary Prrofessor at the same, I desire to share with those who wish the information it on the production of investigation realised in diverse fields. In particular, the contemporary art without reserves, with special emphasis in the art and the ideas that are transmitted in the iconography of the vanguards. The art in Asturias, my establishment and birthplace, is another one of the pillars in which I carry out my activity, aside from other workings in lands of the cultural Patrimony of the region. I've teach and search on contemporary Art general and in Spain and Museology and Museographya. I have given doctorate courses during many years. At present I tray to analyze passages of the contemporary art in Islamic countries. In parallel to these activities and the developed publications in thirty eight years of teaching, that appear in the CV, I have developed activities and I do still it, in the associative and individual scope of the present culture of my surroundings with visual artists. Another dimension that comes to me getting passionate since it was possible to carry out it to me is the trip, as much in next scopes territorially as in distant cultures, those on which as much the artists of the historical vanguards were based. It took to me to initiate interchanges within the History of the Art like responsible Professor, of programs ERASMUS throughout ten years (Pisa, Perugia, Naples). Corollary of it perhaps, was the responsibility of being Director of area of International Relations within the Institution of which I comprise. Sometimes in addition, I realise analysis and commentaries of art exhibitions. I understand that the art of today is incomprehensible without the past, and that the past does not have any sense a being civilized if it does not lead to us to include the present, including the art that is realised from the “posmodernity”. I invite sincerely to those who wish to share these approaches or other similars to that they are entered in the page that we are constructing at present.
